Google updates its algorithms all the time. This means that the software and coding that determine site rankings are constantly changing, and so are the rules. For many years, for example, it was possible to rank a website higher in a search simply by including C级执行名单 a keyword over and over again in a website. However, through regular updates, Google's algorithm started noticing that websites were just entering the keyword just for ranking reasons.
Now, the algorithm is based on content quality and on-page SEO (Search Engine Optimization), and there are a number of rules to follow to rank well. This is why our WordPress SEO plugin, All in One SEO Pack, is so popular - we provide website owners and businesses around the world with the expertise and resources they need to work within the rules. from Google. But what is the latest update from Google? Well, in early 2016, Google rolled out a major core ranking algorithm update that was posted on Twitter and well-known SEO sites.
What was interesting about this latest update is that Google does not usually confirm when a core algorithm update occurs. Not only that, but it was expected that Google would update Penguin 4.0 in March 2016. This update has yet to be seen.
The Penguin update was released in April 2012 and was designed to more effectively prevent spam sites from appearing in search results. Specifically, sites that used purchased links, or obtained backlinks through link networks, were targeted by this update.
Since then, Google has updated Penguin to prevent websites that don't deserve to rank highly from being readily available in search results. And, each time Penguin is updated, sites that have not been updated to get rid of bad links or spam will be removed from the rankings. When sites actually take action, rankings can be regained.
